How to Book Bus Tickets - APSRTC
A passenger is always advised to travel by the Government of Andhra Pradesh operated APSRTC buses. It offers safe and on time journey to the passengers with very economical fare.
If you are looking for the tickets and want to book a seat may visit APSRTC Bus Ticket Reservation counter or any Authorized Ticket Booking Agent's counter.
Please get the printed "Integrated requisition form for reservation/cancellation/ postponement/ pre ponement" from the counter, the fill up the columns of the form and present it before the reservation clerk/ATB Agent along with fare amount.
ADVANCE RESERVATION THROUGH CREDIT
CARD :
If you are planning your trip in
advance you have the option to book your tickets by Credit card facility
offered by APSRTC. The bus ticket
booking through credit card has been implemented at MGBS/Hyderabad and
JBS/Secunderabad w.e.f. 1.12.2001 duly having a tie up with Citi-Bank.
The prominent advantages of the
credit card advance Reservation facility are:
Facility to buy tickets on
production of credit cards at reservation counters at MGBS, (Hyderabad ) and
JBS (Secunderabad).
All Cards are accepted i.e Master /
Visa
There is no service charge
applicable by Credit Card holders.
For advance booking through the
credit cards there are Exclusive Reservation Counters to save time.
This Credit Card Reservation facility
is being extended to Bangalore, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam cities.
Don’t worry if you cannot go to the advance reservation counter to buy your bus tickets. APSRTC offers yet another service to the passengers. It is through Phone. The system of reservation of tickets on telephone and door delivery has been introduced from the year 1995.
As on date, this facility was offered to 25 cities/ towns like Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Guntur , Anantapur, Bangalore, Cuddapah, Eluru, Kakinada etc.
AUTHORIZED TICKET BOOKING AGENTS IN REGION
There are many about 50 Computerized ticket booking centres are available in various parts to help the passengers book their tickets at ease. The facility is apart from MGBS, JBS and Dilsukhnagar.
LINK TICKET SYSTEM TO TIRUMALA & TIRUPATI :
On reaching Tirupati (to avoid waiting in queue for purchase of tickets to proceed to Tirumala), the system of link tickets (Rs.16/- for ordinary and Rs.20/- for Express) to Tirumala has been introduced. These tickets are available at all the advance reservation counters and with the service conductors of Tirupati bound services.
Similarly, both up & down journeys ticket ordinary Rs.32/- , Express Rs.40/- can be purchased for onward and return journey from Tirupati to Tirumala. (These tickets are sold at all our Bus stations and through conductors of Tirupati bound services).
