One of the famous temples in Himachal is Chintpurni Mata Temple. It is located about 430 kms from Delhi, 20 kms from jwalaji. Chintpurni is the famous Shakti-temple located on Dharamshala Hoshiarpur road on  a ridge. Hundreds and Thousands of devotees visit to seek blessings from the Goddess every day.

You can also visit the near by Jwalaji Temple, Kangra Temple, Naina Devi Temple from here. In addition to many religious festivals, the main fair is held during the 10 days of "Shukalpaksh" in August.

There is a Yatri Niwas which is managed by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation

Number of buses are available from Kangra, Jwalaji, Una, Chandigarh, Delhi, jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Dharamshala and all other parts of Himachal Punjab, Jammu and Haryana.

Una is the nearest railway station from Chintpurni Temple. Gaggal Airport is the nearest airport

Shree Mata Chamunda Devi temple is located about 24 km from Kangra and just 15 km from Dharamshala. It  is the famous temple of goddess Chamunda Devi (Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham). Millions of devotees visit the temple every year to seek blessings from the Goddess.

At the back of Chamunda Mata Temple there is a cave-like scoop where a stone "Lingam" under a boulder represents Nandikeshwar (Shiva). Located on the backdrop of snow capped Dhauladhar range and amidst lush green environ ment the temple complex is an enchanting spot with glorious view. The temple is located on the banks of the Baner Khad and Dadh.

A vast running water pool houses the statues of Lord Shiva and Saraswati. A trek of about 16 km up in the Dhauladhar ranges is the ancient temple of Aadi Himani Chamunda.

Chamunda Devi Temple is connected by buses from Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Jammu, Haryana and other parts. Buses are available every 15 minutes from Kangra, Dharamshala and Palampur to Chamunda devi Temple in HP. Chamunda temple is also connected by Toy Train from Pathankot.
