How to Reach IGI Airport by BUS or by METRO

If you have to catch a flight from IGI Termial 3, T3 or from IGI domestic airport and if you hire a taxi it will cost you anywhere between Rs 400 to 800 in Delhi. What would be the best and affordable option for going or coming from IGI Delhi Airport?

Though IGI is connected by Delhi Metro but it covers limited stations and people living in the other parts have to hire a taxi, auto or go by bus. Not many people are aware that DTC offers regular AC low floor and non AC buses from all parts of Delhi to the IGI airport.

Most of us are also not aware of the Free Shuttle Service between domestic T1 Terminal and IGI T3 terminal
 
DTC offers excellent bus service from all parts of Delhi to IGI Airport T3 and IGI T1 Terminals. Regular buses are available from ISBT Kashmere Gate to IGI Airport, Anand Vihar ISBT to IGI Airport, Indirapuram to IGI Airport and also from Badarpur Border to the Airport. The buses include AC buses and cover all parts of Delhi. 

 

The same buses are available from IGI Airport to all parts of the city.

 

It is advisable to travel in the comfortable AC buses from IGI Airport as the fare is too less compared to the TAXIs or Autos. 

 

A Taxi from Delhi IGI Airport will charge anywhere between Rs 15 to Rs 25 per Kms. Autos will charge approximately  between Rs 8 to Rs 10  per kms. 

 

DTC Airport service is very economical, comfortable and the frequency is also very high.
