The MSRTC or Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation
came into existence in 1950 three years after Independence. MSRTC was
established by State Government of Maharashtra as per the provision in Section
3 of RTC Act 1950.
The M.S.R.T.C offers excellent and on time bus services within Maharashtra and to the neighboring states. MSRTC is operating the services by the approved scheme of Road Transport Published vide Notification MVA 3173/30303-XIIA dated 29.11.1973 in the official gazette.

How to Book MSRTC Online BusTicket - Online Reservation System

travelers?
You can book your tickets online at the official site of
MSRTC given below. Before you book your seat you are required to register at
the MSRTC site. After successful registration, you will receive a mail from
MSRTC in your registered email account.
You need to verify your account by
going to your email where you need to click on "Click here" link to
activate your e-ticketing account.
Please make sure that you put in the correct dates of your
journey before submitting your request and making online payment. Once you have
booked your MSRTC e-ticket, you will not be able to make changes anymore to the
date and time of journey.
Also the travelers would not be allowed to replace the name,
gender, age, etc.
In case if you have to change your date or name will have to
cancel e-ticket first and re-book with the desired date, time, etc
Please note that you can cancel your MSRTC e-ticket before
four hours of scheduled departure time from origin OR before preparation of
Reservation Chart, whichever is earlier with effective from 24th December,
2012.
